SCORING
(version 1.0)
(updated 14 July 2008)

For the regular season, you will earn points for every game you win, lose or tie. There are two types of points, Base Points and Bonus Points.

Standard Base Points
You will earn Standard Base Points determined by the size of your opponent's army.

Playing against a 750 point army
1
Playing against a 1,000 or 1,250 army
2
Playing against a 1,500 or 1,750-point army
3
Playing against a ≥2,000-point army
4

Point restrictions: The Standard Base Points that you can earn are restricted by the week's suggested army point level. Meaning if you play against a larger army than the week's army point level, you will only earn points as if you were playing against whatever the week's suggested size is.

For example, if the week is 750 points, and you play against a 1,500-point army, you will only earn points for playing against a 750-point army, which is 1 base points.

Win against opponent 4-7 rungs ahead
+2
Win against opponent ≥8 rungs ahead
+3

Underdog Bonus Points
A player may choose to play an uneven game and give their opponent additional army-list points in increments of 250.

For all game results, except a forfeit, both players gain the following bonuses for playing an underdog game:

250 point difference between armies
+1
500 point difference between armies
+2
≥750 point difference between armies
+3

If the lesser force wins, the winning player doubles his Underdog Bonus Points.
