RULES
(version 1.0, updated January 24, 2007)

"There is no greater glory than a lifetime of dutiful service."
-Sergeant Heron Ruthz, 21st Krieg Panzer Division

Overview
Welcome to Warhammer 40,000 Little League 2007.

For the next few weeks, take part in many battles to decide the fate of an Imperial planet, Razhul, isolated and alone on the Eastern Fringe.

Imperial? Xenos? Whose side are you on? Do you have what it takes to lead your army to victory.

The games will start out small, and grow in size throughout the event.

We’ll start with small 400 point combat patrols, and end up with 1500 full-blown army battles.

League Rules
  • 40k Little League '07 will use the Games Workshop Warhammer 40,000 4th Edition Rules.
  • Refer to page 182 of the Warhammer 40K rulebook for rules for a Combat Patrol.
  • You may change your list anytime between games. But you must have your list ready to show your opponent before seeing your opponent's list.
  • Any army that has a current codex is allowed.
  • Forgeworld special rules are allowed as long as they follow their specific guidelines. They must be represented by the actual model--no proxies. You must also bring a copy of the actual rules (either Imperial Update 2006 or pdf, if the rules are too new).
  • All league games must be recorded on a league record sheet and placed in the league drop box. Home games may also be submitted by email.
  • To determine standings, Wins are 5 points, Ties are 3 points, Losses are 1 point.
Swiss Tournament Rules
  • All league players are eligible for the league tournament. Regardless, if you are in first or last place, you still get to go to the playoffs.
  • You must have two prepared, prewritten army lists for the start of the tournament. These are your lists for the duration of the tournament. For each game, before seeing your opponent's list, you must declare to your opponent which army list you will be using.
  • Player's ranking in the league determines the pairings. Highest ranked will play the lowest ranked, second highest ranked will play the second lowest ranked, etc.
  • If there is an odd number of players, the highest ranked player will be awarded a “bye”.
