WEEK 3 (29 jan 04)

The imperium of Man continues to fight. A second company of Ultramarines has joined the fray. This must be a sign of the divine Emperor that salvation is at hand. The Adeptus Sororitas have also arrived. Along with the Unidentified Chapter , mankind is rallying. But Chaos looms near, and the anger of Khorne shall be terrible. Evil Eldar still pirate the area, leading all to a painful doom. Where are the other armies? The Iron Warriors were unstoppable, will they be this week?

Play of the Week:
(reported by Ray S.)

Andrew's Sisteres of Battle vs. George's Tau

When did the Tau become French? The Tau lined up against the Adeptus Sororitas and then on turn one, the Tau conceded. Way to go, Sisters! Show those aliens who their daddy is.

WEEK 2 (22 jan 04)

Are the forces of man taking a beating? Not if you ask the Ultramarines. Imperial Forces are under constant attack, but with the boys in blue leading the charge, victory will be had. The Eldar menace is still very strong in this sector, what will it take to lift that dark cloud? The Iron Warriors are still forging ahead, with obliterators leading the way, but is there a new Chaos star ascendant? Tau have seemingly lost half of its numbers, but still they fight the good fight, the misguided alien scum that they are.

Play of the Week:
(reported by Ray S.)

Sean's Dark Eldar vs. Mike's Iron Warriors

Whoever said that Dark Eldar Raiders are a death trap never saw Sean S's. This angry elf carrying machine was shot at by all of Mike D's Eldar army, and after a Prism Cannon, Twin Linked Bright Lances, and 10 Shuriken Pistols could not do the job, the final Bright Lance hit and failed to penetrate.

WEEK 1-Kick-off (15 jan 04)

The Big Fish Challenge kicks off with some suprising army choices. With Tau, Ork, and 4 Eldar armies (one being Dark Eldar) being played, about half the League is alien scum. Add in several Chaos armies and the Forces of the Imperium look very hard pressed to win this. Will the Imperium of Man lose to this horde of space trash and traitors? Only the following weeks will tell.

Play of the Week:
(reported by Ray S.)

Rob D.'s Eldar vs. Loo's Iron Warriors

What good are Warp Spiders? Well, they're awesome with the new league Rapid Fire rules when shooting at the rear of a Rhino full of Close Combat marines. Fourteen strength 6 shots destroyed that transport and left it's contents pinned and walking. Good job Warp Spiders.
