General Rules
The Belis Corona Campaign will use both Warhammer 40,000
and Battlefleet Gothic rule sets. Warhammer 40,000 will be the prevalent
system, with the exception of Belis Corona itself, only 40K Armies
can win planets, BFG fleets will be used to transport armies, blockade
systems and control Belis Corona.
Armies can move from planet to planet, with the use of a BFG fleet
or Inter Planetary Transports (Thunderhawks, Shuttles, conscripted
merchant ships). A BFG fleet can move an Army from any planet to
any other planet if there is clear passage (more on this later)
and neither planet is blockaded.
Battlefleet Gothic Specific Rules
If a blockade is present a BFG battle must be fought or an evasion
roll made. Clear passage is viable if both planets are in the same
system or if your side controls the warp passages necessary for
the travel. If a passage is not clear, an Evasion roll must be made.
Evasion rolls are based on the Highest LD of the fleet modified
negatively by the number of ships in the fleet and again by the
number of crippled ships in fleet(-1 per ship in fleet and ˆ1
per crippled ship). If the roll is failed, combat or a retreat will
follow. Combat is worked out in BFG, while retreat is automatic
but removes the fleet and it‚s cargo from the campaign for
a week.
Inter Planetary Transports are slow but readily available. Inter
Planetary Transports can move an army to a planet in the same system,
unless either planet is blockaded.
In this campaign there are two sides, the forces of Order and the
forces of Chaos. Each side needs a General, and each side may have
a BFG fleet up to 5000 points total. Each player may bring and control
a portion of this fleet, but if ships are destroyed the points used
to buy them are lost forever.
