Games Day Los Angeles

(31 may 2003) The Plasmaball Run table is ready to go. Now all we need are some suckers, er, we meant, players.

Heat 1-No, you can't go over the mountain. No, you can't go through the city. No, you can't roll for an Ordinance 6. Yes, everyone wants to powergame.

Heat 2-Neck in neck through the Imperial city.

Excitement builds. Either that, or the players are showing they know how to make a fist. Good times.

Heat 3-Players check their pockets after the blackout.

Jeff, bored with the game, decides to read a poem he wrote last night.

Championship Game - What? Players actually return to play another game? Who'duva thunk that would happen. Now we're going to have to remember all the rules we made up.

Brian and Jon discuss how they got duped into running Plasmaball.

Like moths to the fire, Hellfish members come back for the big Championship game.

Following a long Matchplay tradition, the game ends 15 minutes after Games Day closes--the last game of the first Games Day LA. And the first Plasmaball Run Champion is crowned. Guess Girl Gamers really do rock! Investigations are underway whether the fix was on.
