Warhammer 40,000 League : January 2003-April 2003

(3 April 2003) Infighting. The final game. Teammates, Tommy and Donovan, who also happen to be the highest ranked players in the league, duke it out for the top spot.

Turn 2. Don needs a major victory to tie for first place. Tommy is trying to protect his undefeated league record. Who will prevail?

The first honorary award goes to Kevin who chronicled the adventures of Captain Morgan and his smashing band of Imperial Guard.

The second honorary award goes to Steve for "Rookie of the League." Since your Team Captain commands Sisters of Battle, what better way for your Orks to understand SOB’s than with the comic book version of SOB's.

The winner of the first bad luck/good guy award, Bryan starts a new Hellfish tradition as the very first holder of the Shining Sanctuary, a.k.a. “The Pub.” Use it well.

And for best overall? Well, he didn’t remain undefeated for the entire league, but he did squeak by his final battle against Donovan with a minor loss. Meaning Tommy is the Hellfish’s first Fightingest General and gets the honor of holding on to the Golden Dice Cup for the next league. Enjoy the “Skunks.”

Just how do you celebrate the end of a league? Well, with more 40K, of course. And what a glorious blaze of glory that celebration was. Don assaults Loo's tank with a bit too much success. 2 Wraithlords and an Avatar go in. And BOOM! Only 1 Wraithlord comes out. Ouch.
