(12 sep 2003) Nothing like an enjoyable read after a full meal.

(31 oct 2003) Hands down one of the coolest costumes this year. Unfortunately, Bryan L. spent the evening fending off comments like, "Where's R2-D2?" or "Dude, Power Rangers rock!"

Sheesh, for Halloween, some of us are just happy to wear a bedsheet with no pee stain in the middle. And then there's Bryan L's wife, Mette, donning her awesome Orc getup.

(25 nov 2003) Dave C. from L.A. battles Don from SF. It's a classic story of South meets North. East meets West. The greater good versus the greater evil.

Don ponders, "Man, my army rocks and this army I'm playing--Dave's army, man, it sucks, Tau sucks. How did I get talked into this mirror match? Now am I going to get a Double double, and a shake? Do I want fries with that? Hmmm. . ."

Well, in L.A. this is how we do it.

One solitary greater daemon versus 3 Tau tanks, 3 Tau crisis suits and a squad of Tau Fire Warriors. I feel sorry for the Tau. And yes, Don's Chaos army won both games, in Game 1 when Don played it and in Game 2, the mirror battle, when Dave C. played it.

1st: San Jose Squigs (David H's orc team) with a 2-0 record: 5 TD total, 8 casualties total.
2nd: Lothern Lions (Dan's high elves) with 1-1 record
3rd: Averlorne Avengers (Ray's Elves) with 1-1 record
4th: Jungle Kings (Dave C's Lizardmen) with 0-2 record (guess 2 time So-Cal cup champions don't hold their own up in the Bay Area)

(11 dec 03) Testing out the new Fighting Hellfish Mission Generator with Andrew's Sisters of Battle versus Sean's Codex Marines.

Andrew is obviously thrown for a loop as all the models both friend and foe are painted the same and he goes down with a big whopping loss. Tsk, tsk.

Kevin's shirt says it all. That and the 157 troops he's fielding.

Deja vu. The same paint scheme as the other game with Sisters of Battle and Space Marines.

Where does the pie go?

Don strays from his all veggie diet. When you fall off the wagon, you fall hard.
